Joao Pedro is one of the most improved Chelsea players since Liam Rosenior joined, and the striker has spoken to TNT Sport about what’s changed.
Liam Rosenior is under fire right now for the first time since he became Chelsea boss because of some dodgy decisions he made last week.
So maybe it’s a nice moment to focus on some of the good things he’s done. Foremost among them is bringing new levels to the game of Joao Pedro, who has been on a hot streak since Rosenior took over. Speaking to TNT Sport today, the striker revealed a little about what Rosenior had him doing.
“He’s helped me a lot in things like mentality. Because he told me he believes in me, so this is the first thing,” the Brazilian explained.
“Also he showed me some clips of where he wants be to be on the pitch. And the rest he just wants me to play my football, not worry too much about what I’m doing. Just play my football. And I think that’s why I’ve improved a lot since he joined.”
