The 'Most FIFA World Cup goals' quiz

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is off to an electric start, with the sport’s biggest stars showing out.

Whether it is yet another “final ride,” for Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, a dominant debut from Erling Haaland, or brilliance from a World Cup veteran in his prime in Kylian Mbappe, the tournament has delivered.

With the knockout stages looming, Messi has already broken the all-time World Cup goals record set by Germany’s Miroslav Klose in 2014. His next target is helping Argentina become the first repeat-champion since Brazil in 1958 and 1962.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Ahead of Argentina’s final group stage match against Jordan, Messi has 18 World Cup goals under his belt. With that being said, can you name the players to score at least eight times on the world’s biggest stage?

Good luck!
