With Hull City’s 1-0 win against Middlesbrough on Saturday, the 26/27 English Premier League table is set.

Starting with the relegations, finishing in 20th place with 20 points, Wolverhampton will play their first season in the Championship in nine years.

At 19th, Burnley with 22 points, who were one of the three newly promoted teams this season, will make their way back down after just one year in at the topflight.

And finally, at 18th, West Ham with 39 points. West Ham avoided the Championship for 15 seasons, with their most recent tenure in the second division being the 2011/2012 campaign.

Now, the promotions, winning the Championship handedly with 95 points, Coventry City will play their first season in the topflight since the 2000/2001 season.

Coventry had fallen as low as League Two or the fourth division in the pyramid. But they have battled back and are Premier League once again.

Following Coventry is Ipswich Town who finished second with 84 points, their last season in the Premier League was 2001/2002.

And finally, Hull City, who was the final team to qualify for a playoff position for a chance to earn the third and final promotion spot to the topflight of English soccer.

Hull City took down Millwall 2-0 through two legs, and then their aforementioned 1-0 win at Wembley to secure their first Premier League season since 2016/2017.
