Thiago Motta’s agent, Dario Canovi, reveals that the ex-Juventus coach received an offer from a foreign club on Thursday: ‘He must find the right solution for himself.’
Former Juventus coach Motta has received several offers this summer, including one from a foreign club on Thursday, September 4.
His agent, Dario Canovi, revealed the proposal during an interview with QSVS.
“Thiago Motta will become a great coach,” Canovi said via Calciomercato.com.
“He also received one today [yesterday] from abroad. He must find the right solution for himself. I don’t want to talk about him much, but I didn’t like the stance taken by a big part of the press.”
Juventus sacked Thiago Motta in March 2025 after barely nine months in charge of the Serie A giants.
The former Italy international had been linked with Atalanta and Tottenham this summer before La Dea and Spurs hired Ivan Juric and Thomas Frank, respectively.
Fenerbahce and Bayer Leverkusen are among the clubs currently looking for a new coach, having sacked José Mourinho and Erik ten Hag.
According to Calciomercato.com, Bayer Leverkusen’s option should be taken into account for Motta, as the Bundesliga side is seeking a manager who can provide a clear tactical identity to the team, playing attacking football.
