Thomas Frank ‘crazy’ about 24-year-old attacker, could replace £25m ace at Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur could look to cash in on Wilson Odobert during the summer transfer window and replace him with Gustav Isaksen.

According to a report from La Lazio Siamo Noi, Odobert is not a key part of Thomas Frank’s plans at the North London club, and he could move on this summer.

Odobert replacement lined up

Odobert is reportedly valued at £25 million. Tottenham have already identified the Lazio attacker Gustav Isaksen as his replacement.

The report claims that the newly appointed Tottenham manager is ‘crazy’ about the 24-year-old Lazio attacker. He wanted to sign the player during his time at Brentford as well. It remains to be seen whether Spurs can wrap up the move in the coming weeks.

Gustav Isaksen could be a useful addition

Isaksen has done quite well for the Italian club, and he scored six goals and picked up six assists last season. His numbers could improve when he is playing in a better team alongside quality attackers.

He is capable of operating on either flank, and his versatility will be a bonus for Tottenham. He will add goals and creativity to the side. The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be hard for him to turn down. It would be a major step up in his career, and he will look to prove himself at the highest level.

Tottenham are among the biggest clubs in England, and they could provide him with the platform he needs right now. Regular football in England could accelerate his development and bring out the best in him.

The report further claims that the attacker is valued at around €25-30 million. Tottenham certainly have the resources to pay that kind of money for him. If he manages to adapt to English football, the asking price could look like a bargain.
