Real Madrid will return to action on the 15th of July this summer, following a summer break, a day after the end of the Euros. However Carlo Ancelotti will have few of his resources at that point.

As per Relevo the idea is that fitness coach Antonio Pintus carries out his first medical tests and fitness sessions during the opening ten days of preseason, before Los Blancos head out to the USA for their preseason tour, with matches against Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea.

Up to 18 players could be missing from the start of preseason due to internationals, with only Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, Fran Garcia, Lucas Vazquez, Dani Ceballos and Brahim Diaz are expected to be present at the beginning, and they will conduct joint sessions with the Castilla side. They have already had discussions with Raul Gonzalez about their plans.

One player who could well join them is Rafa Marin, returning from Alaves and set to be part of the first team next season. The same cannot be said for fellow loanees Juanmi Latasa, Reinier Jesus and Jesus Vallejo, returning from Getafe, Frosinone and Granada. Los Blancos will seek exits for all three.

It seems likely that Real Madrid will look for permanent exits for all three. Reinier could be set for another loan, with two years remaining on his deal and has €10m left to ammortise of his move from Flamengo. Unless they receive an offer in excess of that figure, or they feel they will not get a better offer, a loan may be the most financially responsible move for Real Madrid.
