Tottenham Hotspur played one game under new interim manager Igor Tudor over the weekend as they played Arsenal in the Premier League at home. Spurs lost 4-1 to Arsenal, and they sit 16th in the league.

Spurs fans are concerned about their team, who have three consecutive losses in the Premier League. Spurs are only four points ahead of the relegation zone in the Premier League table.

The club decided to part ways with Thomas Frank earlier this month, following a 2-1 loss to Newcastle United in the league.

Frank was appointed as the new Spurs manager last summer, and the decision appears fair to many fans but not to USMNT legend Tim Howard. The former Everton and Manchester United goalkeeper thinks Spurs should've given Frank more time despite the poor results.

On his podcast, the Unfilitired Soccer Podcast, Howard spoke about Frank's struggles during the season and believes the board made a 'bad' decision ahead of the rest of the season.

Tim Howard on Spurs sacking Thomas Frank

Unlike most Tottenham Hotspur fans, Tim Howard did not understand the club's decision to sack Thomas Frank a few weeks ago.

Despite the team falling further down the table with poor results, Howard believes that the new interim manager, Igor Tudor, won't improve the team much for the rest of the season. Howard pushes his focus on the club's board about the decision on Thomas Frank.

Howard said, "I think it's crazy, man. I genuinely think it's ludicrous. I think it's a horrific way to run a football club... Tottenham is a big club...Thomas Frank is a good manager."

The former USMNT goalkeeper continued his take and says, "Okay, results aren't great... He's had arguably his best players out this season. Should the sqaud that he has been getting better results, yes. My issue is, give him more time...Stand by your manager, results haven't been good enough, but we spent a ton of money on this squad and half of them haven't been fit."

Howard believes that Spurs will not go down despite the poor results and thinks that regardless of the team having Frank or Igor Tudor, the team will be safe from relegation.

Howard said, "Igor Tudor is going to come in and do what? He's gonna get you three, four places [higher]. I would argue Thomas Frank will help this team finish exactly where Igor Tudor helps them finish."
