Torino have officially signed left-back Niels Nkounkou from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth up to a reported €5.5m.
The 24-year-old has arrived on loan for €500,000 until the end of the season, with an option to make it permanent for a further €5m.
That option can become an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met during the campaign.
The French left-back spent time at Olympique Marseille, Everton, Standard Liege, Everton, Cardiff City and Saint-Etienne until his €7.5m move to Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023.
Nkounkou made six appearances for the France Olympic team at the Tokyo event in 2021.
