Tottenham aiming to sign Juventus star to reinforce attack

Mathys Tel is another player that has found life tough in North London. The 19-year-old joined the Lilywhites in January on an initial loan till the end of the season. Spurs also have an option of making the deal permanent in the summer. But the youngster has just not made a solid impact for the club and is now facing an uncertain future at N17. A return to Bayern Munich is on the cards for the teenager.

Tottenham want to land Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic

Tottenham are facing a squad overhaul in the summer after enduring a disastrous campaign. With Richarlison heading for the exit doors once the season ends, Spurs will need to bring in a quality replacement to fill the attacking void left behind by the Brazil international. Mathys Tel also faces an uncertain future at the club, which further provokes Tottenham to act quick and sign a new striker.

Spurs are interested in signing Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus. The Lilywhites see the prolific striker as someone who could lead the line alongside Dominic Solanke for years to come. Vlahovic is open to leave Turin and head for pastures new as well. The 25-year-old has endured a ‘stop-start’ campaign and had fallen down the pecking order under previous coach Thiago Motta.

But the Serbian has managed to find his rhythm back and has integrated himself in the starting eleven again. Many clubs are interested in signing the Juventus No.9 and Daniel Levy will have to act quick if he wants to have any chance of landing the striker. It was reported earlier that the Old Lady had placed Vlahovic on the transfer market and were ready to accept offers worth £25million.

Will Dusan Vlahovic fit in at Tottenham?

If Tottenham end up signing Dusan Vlahovic in the summer, then Mathys Tel will need to shift to the left wing. The Frenchman was signed in January as an emergency backup to Dominic Solanke. However, Tel has proved his versatility under Ange Postecoglou and has started recent games on the left wing. Signing Vlahovic would only confirm that Tel will not be able to play up top.

Dusan Vlahovic will fit in perfectly at Spurs. The prolific striker has managed to score 14 goals this season and has also provided five assists. The Serbian will compliment Dominic Solanke’s game and will provide Ange Postecoglou with a perfect backup option. The 25-year-old tends to utilize his pace well and gets into goal-scoring positions regularly.

He has also been a mainstay in the Juventus team since signing for the club in January, 2022. Vlahovic’s most recent goal contributions of the Old Lady came in their game against Lecce last week. The prolific striker managed to grab two assists and earn the Man of the Match award for helping his team earn three crucial points. Daniel Levy will surely look to add him the Spurs’ ranks in the summer on a bargain.
