Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to appoint Thomas Frank as their next manager, and they could move for the Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo after that.

According to journalist Alan Nixon, Tottenham director Johan Lange worked with Frank at Danish club Lyngby, and he could play a key role in bringing the 51-year-old manager to the club. Once the appointment is confirmed, Tottenham could look to move for Mbeumo.

The player is a target for Manchester United as well, and Tottenham could look to hijack the move for him. The 25-year-old has been outstanding in the Premier League last season, and he had 29 goal contributions.

Tottenham managed to beat Manchester United in the final of the UEFA Europa League recently, and it seems that they could be able to inflict another blow on the Red Devils. They will be able to offer the player Champions League football for the next season, and the arrival of Frank will certainly give them a huge advantage in the transfer race.

The Denmark manager managed to bring out the best in the Cameroon International, and he could be keen on a reunion.

It is no secret that Tottenham need a quality attacker, and the Brentford star would be the ideal acquisition. He can operate as the right-sided attacker as well as a centre-forward. He will add goals and creativity to the side. He is ability to take on defenders and beat them in one-versus-one situations will add some much-needed unpredictability to the Tottenham attacking unit as well.

Mbeumo is well-settled in the Premier League, and he could make an instant impact at the London club as well. He will be tempted to join a big club, especially with Champions League football. It will be interesting to see if they can secure an agreement with Brentford.
