Tottenham Hotspur might be tempted to make a move for Jack Grealish

Last season proved to be historic for Tottenham Hotspur in Europe. The team secured its place in next season’s Champions League after beating Manchester United in the Europa League final. This achievement came under the coaching of Ange Postecoglou, but there was a change in the summer and Thomas Frank took over as the team’s new manager.

Frank’s vision is clear and that is to make the team play aggressive and creative football. Mohammed Kudus and Mathys Tel have already been added to the squad, and the club are still working on strengthening the squad.

Spurs have seen ups and downs in the last few seasons. This team, which reached the Champions League final, struggled in the race for the top-4 for a few years. However, last year’s European success has reinvigorated both players and fans. The club will now be looking to win titles, not just settle for a place in the top four.

Big names on the radar and Jack Grealish is one of them

Tottenham are considering signing Manchester City’s Jack Grealish. Grealish did not fit into Pep Guardiola’s plans last season and made the starting XI in just seven Premier League matches.

After Maddison was ruled out for the season and Morgan Gibbs-White was not brought in, the club are looking for a new No.10. Meanwhile, Ian Darke believes as reported by TottenhamHotspurNews, Spurs could now step up their pursuit of Grealish.

Frank’s tactics requires a player who can control the ball, create chances and set the tempo and Grealish is a master of that. The 29-year-old’s experience and proven ability in the Premier League could reinvent Spurs’ attack.

“Losing Maddison for the season is a huge blow, especially after the failure to land Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest, who might well have replaced him as first-choice Number 10.

“Spurs will need to find someone else for that role. I wonder whether they might be tempted to try for Jack Grealish.”

Opinion:

In our opinion, the Englishman would be a perfect fit for our side. He will have the freedom to move around both on the wing and in the centre in Frank’s system. His chemistry with Kudus and Tel could make the attack dangerous. This will also be a golden opportunity for Grealish to prove himself again in a new environment and feel important. The space he lost at Manchester City can be fully regained here.

The club should definitely go for this transfer if there is an opening as Manchester City are also interested in letting him leave the club. It will not only fill the void of Maddison but also give the team the strength to go deep in the Champions League. This move could be the beginning of a new story for the Spurs, and will definitely upgrade our squad for the next season and upcoming years.
