
Tottenham Hotspur will take on La Liga side Getafe today in a preseason friendly at Hotspur Way.
Roberto De Zerbi's side is already showing signs of a turnaround after a disastrous last season, when they avoided relegation by just two points.
The North London club has won all of its friendlies so far, beating MK Dons, Auckland FC, Sydney FC and Chelsea.
Spurs pulled off a late 2-1 win against their London rivals despite playing most of the second half with 10 men with Richarlison's 92nd-minute goal helping them secure their fourth preseason win.
Meanwhile, Jose Bordalas has led his squad to two wins, one draw and one loss in their friendlies so far.Their unbeaten run of three matches came to an end when Atletico Madrid beat them 4-1 last week.
For Spurs, Mateus Fernandes was unavailable for their draw against Sydney as well as the win against Chelsea.
Xavi Simons will also be unavailable, with the club expecting him back early next year after he suffered a ruptured ACL in April this year.
On the other hand, Mohammed Kudus and Dejan Kulusevski are inching closer to a return, with both players seen training together at Hotspur Way.
Spurs have also completed the transfers of Sandro Tonali, Jan Paul van Hecke and Marcos Senesi, while De Zerbi has promised more signings before the league kicks off.
Getafe, meanwhile, suffered a blow with forward Christantus Uche ruled out for the entire 2026-27 season due to multiple right knee ligament and meniscus tears sustained during their friendly against AS Monaco.Bordalas has also made important transfers, with the club set to play in the UEFA Conference League this season.
