Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs keeping tabs on the Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho.
Manchester United are willing to sell the player this summer, and he wants to continue in the Premier League. According to former Premier League scout Mick Brown, Tottenham are interested in securing a signature, and they could look to make a move for him in the near future.
“Tottenham have been keeping an eye on Garnacho’s situation,” he told Football Insider.
“It’s a move that could suit all three parties because Man United want to sell him, Tottenham will strengthen their team, and he wants to stay in the Premier League.
“But it’s a move they’re interested in and they’ll go for it if they think it’s one they can get done.”
The 20-year-old is highly rated across Europe, and he could develop into a top-quality player with the right guidance. Tottenham need more quality and depth in the final third, and Garnacho would be a solid addition. He scored 11 goals last season and picked up 10 assists as well.
Former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has described him as a player with “high potential”. Tottenham would do well to secure his signature. He would be a future asset for the club, and he could improve them going forward.
They will be able to offer him regular gametime and Champions League football next season. The player could be attracted to the idea of joining them. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will sell to a direct rival.
If Tottenham can sign the player for a reasonable amount of money, it could prove to be a shrewd investment for them. The player could easily justify the investment and establish himself as an indispensable asset for the club.
