Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-min has been linked with a move away from the club during the summer transfer window.

The 32-year-old has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, three Saudi Arabian clubs are keen on signing the South Korean International, and they are willing to offer him wages of around €30 million. They are prepared to pay a fee of around €40 million as well.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are prepared to sanction his departure. The player is at the twilight stages of his career, and this could be the right time for Tottenham to cash in on and bring in a younger alternative.

The opportunity to move to Saudi Arabia could be exciting for the player at this stage of his career. He would also earn a substantial amount of money in Saudi Arabia. Son has been linked with the move to Saudi Arabia in recent seasons. It remains to be seen whether Saudi clubs can get the deal across the line this time around.

Meanwhile, Jacobs claims that the player ‘could leave’ Tottenham this summer. It will be interesting to see if the North London outfit can replace him adequately. He has been an indispensable asset for them over the years. Losing him will certainly weaken the side. Apart from being a top-class attacker, he is a leader of the dressing room. Spurs must look to replace him adequately if they want to do well next season.
