Tottenham Hotspur have endured a difficult start to their 2024/25 Premier League campaign; however, the Lilywhites responded brilliantly yesterday as they came from behind to return to winning ways at White Hart Lane against Thomas Frank’s Brentford, and along with Spurs, the likes of Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson also bounced back.
The aforementioned duo were under abundant pressure, especially after misfiring in a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend, which aggregated into massive abuses on social media. The criticism played a domino effect in the former Nottingham Forest star deactivating his Instagram account.
However, the £70,000-per-week player responded brilliantly on the pitch. He scored the winner in the added time against Coventry City in the midweek and went on to score in successive games as he scored the North Londoners second goal of the fixture yesterday to give the hosts a 2-1 lead.
Highly acclaimed Tottenham journalist Alasdair Gold insists that the Spurs faithful at White Hart Lane were shouting their hearts out to “There’s only one Brennan Johnson” following his goal against the Bees yesterday, showing their support to the young forward.
All the Spurs fans in the stadium singing 'There's only one Brennan Johnson' after that lovely goal from the young Tottenham attacker.

While Spurs were fighting to keep the lead, England international James Maddison scored the third to give breathing space to his teammates, which eventually went on to secure the much-needed three points.
The win moves Tottenham to 10th place in the Premier League table with seven points accumulated in five games.
Ange Postecoglou & Co. will now turn their heads to the Europa League as they host Azerbaijani side Qarabağ FK at White Hart Lane on Thursday night.
