With just two matches remaining, Tottenham sit 17th in the Premier League standings on 37 points, only one point above 18th-placed West Ham in the relegation zone. A win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would give Roberto De Zerbi’s side a massive step toward securing safety after what has been one of the club’s most difficult league season in years.

The pressure is real, but so is the recent improvement. Tottenham come into the match on the back of consecutive victories, including an important 2-1 away win over Aston Villa last weekend that finally gave fans some belief the team could escape the bottom three fight.

Leeds arrive in a less risky situation. Daniel Farke’s side sit 16th with 43 points and have mathematically secured another Premier League season. Their focus now is more about finishing strongly.

Tottenham’s desperation could become their biggest advantage.

Leeds arrive in better overall form, but Spurs have shown more urgency over the past two weeks and finally look like a team playing with survival instincts.
