This article follows the Transfer Saga concerning Lazio’s interest in Sassuolo’s Armand Lauriente. The 25-year-old French winger has been linked with a move to the Biancocelesti since June of 2024.

The attacker joined the Neroverdi from Lorient in the summer of 2022 and was one of the standout stars during his maiden Serie A campaign. However, he was unable to salvage the Emilians from being relegated to Serie B last year despite contributing with five league goals and six assists.

Lauriente primarily plays as an inverted left winger and his contract with Sassuolo is valid until the summer of 2027.

Lazio have agreed to contract terms with Armand Lauriente following a positive round of talks, willing to give him up to a circa €600,000 raise in comparison to his current €1 million wages at Sassuolo. The Biancocelesti now have to reach an agreement with the Neroverdi, who have set a €15 million price tag on the player.

Lazio have reportedly presented Sassuolo with a concrete offer for their winger Armand Lauriente but fell off the mark, only offering around €10 million.

Lazio have contacted Sassuolo to start seriously discussing a possible deal for Lauriente, learning his circa €15 million price tag. Other clubs from Italy and around Europe are also interested in the 25-year-old.

Lazio have made new contacts for Armand Lauriente who would surely relish the opportunity to leave the Mapei Stadium following his club’s relegation to Serie B at the end of last season.

Lazio have inquired about Armand Lauriente’s services as they consider making both the player and his club Sassuolo an offer.

25-year-old Armand Lauriente wants to leave Sassuolo this summer in search of greener pastures and an intermediary has offered the player’s services to Lazio.
