Juventus coach Igor Tudor admits Real Madrid ‘certainly have more quality,’ but urges his men to ‘really believe’ and ‘play with courage’ in the Club World Cup Round of 16.

It kicks off at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami at 20.00 UK time.

You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens on the Liveblog.

The winners will face either Borussia Dortmund or Monterrey in the quarter-final on Saturday.

Tudor wants no Juventus regrets

“We need teamwork, to suffer, to believe, go forward and score goals, don’t make mistakes at the back. It is a super difficult match, but at the same time also a wonderful game to play,” Tudor told DAZN.

Nicolò Savona badly sprained his ankle during the 5-2 defeat to Manchester City and is out for at least a month, while Federico Gatti is suffering from flu symptoms.

That means Daniele Rugani gets his Club World Cup debut in a totally reshuffled defence, with Alberto Costa at right wing-back.

“I tried to give the lads my input, which is to really believe, because that’s what you need in life and in football. Not to afterwards think oh we could’ve done that, we should’ve done that. You have to give your heart and soul in the moment,” continued Tudor.

“We have quality, Real Madrid certainly have more, but in football you have to play with courage and see what happens.”

Kenan Yildiz is given the nod in attack, with Randal Kolo Muani and Francisco Conceicao, but Tudor rejected any questions about the Turkish talent.

“I don’t want to talk about individuals. If we want to do something extraordinary today, we need all 16 players to give their all, including those off the bench.”

It is a new Real Madrid side under coach Xabi Alonso after years of Carlo Ancelotti, drawing 1-1 with Simone Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal before beating Pachuca and RB Salzburg.

How to watch Real Madrid vs. Juventus

The best way to live stream the Club World Cup is with DAZN, which is offering a free service this summer, which can also be upgraded to a premium service. DAZN’s free offer means ads during games, and no replays or extended highlights, but it’s still a pretty tempting deal that will surely get Calcio fans and others signing up quickly.
