Igor Tudor reveals he’s working with Jonathan David and Lois Openda ‘from a psychological point of view’, praises Luka Modric, but hopes his compatriot ‘plays badly tomorrow.’

Tudor held a press conference on Saturday, on the eve of a Serie A match against Milan.

The Croatian tactician has been rotating his strikers and has not yet picked the first choice up front between David, Openda and Dusan Vlahovic. The latter is expected to start against Milan tomorrow, according to reports.

Tudor tries to ‘get the best out’ of Juventus strikers

“I work with David and Openda from a psychological point of view. I try to get the best out of them with my choices from match to match,” Tudor said via Ilbianconero.com.

Tudor’s compatriot Modric, a Milan star, will be one of the big names in Turin tomorrow.

“I also played with Modric in the national team. We made history for our country. Someone like him will never be born again,” Tudor said.

“No one comes close. He’s twice as good as anyone else. What he’s doing now, playing at this level at 40, I’ve never seen before. I am proud. Let’s just hope he plays badly tomorrow,” the Juventus coach concluded, smiling.
