Manchester United are heading into the Tottenham Hotspur game with plenty still to prove, having taken just five points from their opening five Premier League matches.

Michael Carrick’s team have won once in the league, with a defeat to Manchester City and draws against Everton and Fulham adding to an inconsistent start.

United are currently 12th in the table and will return to action against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford this Saturday.

Attention is also beginning to shift towards the women’s side, who have had a very different storyline develop since the start of the campaign.

Eva Olid’s team endured a difficult opening, losing to London City Lionesses and Chelsea before drawing with Arsenal.

However, wins over West Ham and Liverpool have changed the mood.

Two November 2026 Manchester United fixtures officially rescheduled

Manchester United Women have now had two upcoming WSL fixtures rescheduled, with the Women Super League confirming new dates on their website for their trips to Aston Villa and home meeting with Crystal Palace.

The visit to Aston Villa will now take place at Villa Park on Sunday 8 November, having originally been scheduled for Saturday 7 November.

United’s meeting with Crystal Palace has also been brought forward, with the newly promoted side visiting the Progress with Unity Stadium on Saturday 14 November instead of Sunday 15 November.

The changes come during an important stretch for Olid’s team.

Before those fixtures arrive, United are due to face Charlton Athletic away on 18 October, Manchester City at home on 25 October and Everton away on 31 October.

The women’s season has already had plenty of movement, with the WSL expanded to 14 clubs this season and United scheduled to play 26 league matches.

United also marked their 250th competitive match since the team’s 2018 reformation with the 1-0 victory over Liverpool, making it back-to-back league wins.

With the latest broadcast selections now confirmed, United know when two more of their November fixtures will take place as they look to build on their recent improvement.
