Udinese signed Nicolò Zaniolo from Galatasaray on loan with option to buy, plus Idrissa Gueye from FC Metz for up to €10m.
The Friulani managed to get the paperwork completed on time to register Zaniolo on his return to Serie A from Galatasaray.
They are set to pay €3m for the loan, with two different options to buy at the end of the season.
The first is worth €5m by leaving Galatasaray a sell-on clause for 50 per cent, or they can pay €10m and buy him outright.
That is not the only last-minute agreement completed by the club.
It is reported by Sky Sport Italia that Gueye is a loan with obligation to buy under certain conditions for €8-10m including add-ons.
The centre-forward is set to celebrate his 19th birthday later this month and has already received his first senior cap for Senegal.
It was only in the final minutes of the transfer session that the Friulani were able to make the agreement stick and his contract was registered with the Lega Serie A.
He moved to France for Metz in January and made quite an impression with five goals and an assist in 23 competitive appearances.
