U.S. Soccer Star Christian Pulisic Faces Cheating Accusation

U.S. men's soccer star Christian Pulisic, arguably the best player on the men's national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup in North America, is making headlines for not-so-good reasons this week.

Pulisic, 27, is facing accusations of being on a dating app before his breakup with his girlfriend was even finalized. His girlfriend, Alexa Melton, called him out in a post about their separation.

Melton responded to a fan who wrote, “This generational fumble will be studied for years to come" in the comment section of her Instagram post.

Melton responded, “How many likes to post his Raya profile,” referring to the membership-based dating app that is often used among celebrities.

“Mans was on Raya before it even ended,” Melton added.

The couple started dating in 2024

While Melton did not publicly name Pulisic in her social media comments, fans quickly deduced who she was talking about. And, if he was on Raya before they broke up, that's at least a form of emotional cheating in the eyes of many, even if nothing physical happened until post-breakup.

Melton, a pro golfer who played collegiately at USC, has developed a big-time following on social media.

She has more than 100,000 followers on Instagram.
