After the U.S. Men’s National Team beat Australia 2-0 to advance to the knockout round of the World Cup, the team took a page out of West Virginia’s playbook and sang John Denver’s song “Take Me Home, Country Roads” with the entire crowd at Lumen Field in Seattle.

Nearly 67,000 fans belted out the song together, creating a massive stadium-wide choir alongside the players.

While the match was a historic success with the USMNT winning its first two World Cup matches since 1930, post-game energy stole headlines. Videos show stars like Christian Pulisic singing loudly. Captain Tim Ream joked, “I don’t think half the team knows that song… It’s one of those moments where you’re like, ‘Is this real life?’”

The U.S. Men’s National Team might have just found its unofficial anthem.
