Dusan Vlahovic met with Juventus directors today and there are multiple reports both sides opened the door to agreeing a new contract.
The striker is only tied to the Turin club until June 30 and can already begin negotiations with other teams in Italy and abroad, where he could go as a free agent from July.
However, the Serbian already resisted the attempts to sell him last summer, as he remains determined to stay on with the Bianconeri.
His future was put on the backburner following a serious injury and he is on his way back, also having a crucial meeting today with the Juve hierarchy.
According to multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and La Gazzetta dello Sport, it was a very positive encounter, with both Vlahovic and Juventus expressing their desire to get a new contract agreed.
It would require a significant pay cut from the deal that he had before, which was worth around €12m per season, but this was still progress.
Vlahovic, 26, has scored six goals and provided two assists in 17 appearances across all competitions this season.
