Kyle Walker and Joao Felix are both expected to leave Milan at the end of the 2024-25 season after the team’s loss to Bologna in the Coppa Italia final, and there are no guarantees over the futures of four other Rossoneri first-team stars according to Thursday’s reports.

Milan were beaten 1-0 by Bologna in the final of the Coppa Italia on Wednesday night. The defeat earned Bologna a spot in the Europa League for 2025-26, while Milan are left in eighth place in the Serie A standings and at risk of missing out on European football altogether.

Thursday’s reports claim that the defeat was the final nail in the coffin for head coach Sergio Conceicao, who is expected to leave at the end of the season, and reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that several first-team players could follow him.

Which Milan players could leave in summer transfer window?

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and various other outlets, Milan have decided against signing England international Kyle Walker on a permanent basis, despite having an option to buy for around €5m this summer.

It is a similar situation for Chelsea loanee Joao Felix, who has failed to live up to expectations in San Siro, despite a promising start. There is no option to buy clause in his current loan deal, and Milan are not expected to renegotiate terms with his parent club, Chelsea.

Reports earlier in 2025 claimed that Milan could look to sell both Theo Hernandez and Fikayo Tomori at the end of the season in order to raise funds and make way for new additions. Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport on Thursday suggest that this is still the case.

Meanwhile, fellow defender Malick Thiaw is also among the list of players who could be sold if an appropriate offer arrives in the summer, particularly given that Milan will look to sign a new starting centre-back in the summer.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Mike Maignan could also be allowed to leave if a suitable agreement is reached according to Thursday’s reports.
