Achraf Hakimi and the Morocco national team kicked off their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a 3-0 win over Tanzania on Wednesday night.

Even though the Paris Saint-Germain star didn’t score, he assisted the Atlas Lions’ third goal that Youssef En-Nesyri scored in the contest. The 25-year-old’s impressive build-up led to the goal, which needed to be reviewed and confirmed.

Hakimi and Co. secured all three points and now look to take a commanding lead in Group F on Matchday 2.
