Watch: Darwin Nunez opens Copa America account in style with wicked left-foot volley

Darwin Nunez seems like a different player when he wears the light blue of Uruguay and this has once again been the case.

Playing in the opening group game for his nation in the Copa America, our No.9 dispatched a lovely volley to make the score 2-0 with just five minutes remaining.

Reacting first to loose ball in the box, the 25-year-old’s finish was nearly as good as his celebrations and it was clearly a moment that meant a lot to him.

Let’s hope it’s the first of many for the former Benfica man, as he continues his fine form for his country.
