Watch: England keeper Jordan Pickford appears to suffer injury ahead of Euro match

England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford appeared to suffer an injury during team warmups ahead of the country's elimination game against Slovakia.

During Fox Sports' pregame show, former Denmark goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel speculated Pickford may have broken or jammed a finger based on the live footage of warmups.

Pickford, who has made 64 international appearances for England, still walked out onto the pitch with the starting lineup - seemingly ready to play despite the earlier discomfort.

Manager Gareth Southgate would be forced to turn to backup Aaron Ramsdale if Pickford ends up not being able to complete the match - a development worth keeping an eye on throughout.

The winner of England and Slovakia will face Switzerland, who defeated defending champions Italy on Saturday, in the quarterfinals which are set to be played July 5-6.
