During Thursday's Europa League match between PSV Eindhoven and Sevilla, a PSV fan rushed onto the field during the match and punched Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic in the face.
Dmitrovic was uninjured by the fan and was able to remain in the game, but only after he ended up dropping the fan with a punch of his own and wrestling him to the ground as other players on the pitch rushed in for assistance.

PSV won the match, 2-0, but lost 3-2 on aggregate and was eliminated.
Even worse, according to the Associated Press, the club could face possible sanctions and punishment from UEFA for the fan's actions.
Rushing the field never ends well for fans, as they not only run the risk of getting punched by a player that is almost certainly stronger and more athletic than them but there are several legal consequences and stadium banishments that will come with it. It is still a scary scene to watch unfold when a fan is able to get out there and confront a player.
