United took the lead after the ten-minute mark when Ethan Ennis worked magnificently hard to set up Sam Mather on the left side, who cut onto his right foot and placed the ball into the far corner.

The home side clawed their way back into the game and equalised when Joe Sbarra’s shot took a hefty deflection off Jack Kingdon before going past Dermot Mee into the United goal.

Doncaster went on to make it 3-1 in the 65^th minute, at a point many thought the deficit was too great for Travis Binnion’s side. Ethan Ennis pulled one back before Louis Jackson scored a stoppage-time equaliser to force the tie to penalties.
