Alexander Isak produced one of the most sensational assists the Premier League has ever witnessed during Newcastle United's 4-1 win over Everton on Thursday.

Newcastle were already 3-1 up when substitute Isak collected the ball on the left wing near the halfway line.

He then embarked on an outstanding dribble that initially took him towards the corner flag.

Once in the corner area, Isak was challenged by two Everton players but his fancy footwork beat both Michael Keane and Idrissa Gueye not once but twice.

Now inside the penalty area but still tight to the byline, Isak kept the ball under his magic spell to evade Ben Godfrey before dinking a cheeky pass to the far post where Jacob Murphy could not miss.

Callum Wilson had earlier scored twice for Newcastle either side of a Joelinton strike to fire the away side into a 3-0 lead.

Dwight McNeil scored a consolation goal for Everton moments before Isak's epic assist for Murphy.

Newcastle's win saw them tighten their hold on third place, while it left Everton 19th and facing a real struggle to avoid relegation.
