Liverpool returns to Premier League action, but now as the away team, as they play against West Ham United at London Stadium. Liverpool is in need of points as they are currently in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

West Ham United and Liverpool are seven points apart and only four positions apart. West Ham United is 17th in the league table with 11 points, while Liverpool is 13th with 18 points.

West Ham's record after 12 matches in the Premier League is three wins, two draws, and seven losses. Liverpool's record after 12 league matches is six wins and six losses.

In their previous Premier League match, West Ham drew 2-2 with Bournemouth away from home last weekend. Liverpool lost 3-0 against Nottingham Forest at Anfield last weekend. Liverpool also lost 4-1 to PSV in the Champions League earlier this week.

The last time West Ham hosted Liverpool at London Stadium was on December 29, 2024, where Liverpool won 5-0. The previous encounter between the two teams was at Anfield on April 13, 2025, where Liverpool won 2-1.
