In their previous Premier League match, West Ham drew 2-2 with Bournemouth away from home last weekend. Liverpool lost 3-0 against Nottingham Forest at Anfield last weekend. Liverpool also lost 4-1 to PSV in the Champions League earlier this week.

The last time West Ham hosted Liverpool at London Stadium was on December 29, 2024, where Liverpool won 5-0. The previous encounter between the two teams was at Anfield on April 13, 2025, where Liverpool won 2-1.
