Today is the last matchday of the 2025/2026 Saudi Pro League, with seven games being played at the same time. The title race will end today, with Al Nassr and Al Hilal in contention to win the league title.
Al Nassr and Al Hilal are two points apart in the league table. Al Nassr is first with 83 points after 33 league games, and Al Hilal is second with 81 points after 33 league games.
The two sides played each other last week in a crucial match that could've been the title-deciding game for Al Nassr. The match finished in a 1-1 draw with Mohamed Simakan scoring the goal, which could've crowned them Saudi Pro League champions.
Al Nassr goalkeeper Bento Krepski scored an own goal in the last minute of the match, which was the equalizer for Al Hilal. That own goal keeps Al Hilal with serious chances of still winning the league title, but Al Nassr is in a strong position to win it.
Al Nassr will be playing at home against 15th-place Damac, who is fighting to avoid relegation; Damac is only two points above the relegation zone.
Al Hilal will be playing away from home against Al Fayha, who are 10th in the league table.
Al Nassr cannot drop points against Damac as they have a two-point advantage over Al Hilal. A win over Damac guarantees them the Saudi Pro League title, without needing to worry about Al Hilal's match against Al Fayha.
If Al Nassr loses to Damac, Al Nassr would stay on 83 points and would need Al Hilal to lose or draw with Al Fayha to be crowned champions. If Al Nassr loses and Al Hilal beats Al Fayha, Al Hilal jumps to 84 points and wins the league title.
If Al Nassr draws with Damac, Al Nassr would be on 84 points. They would need Al Hilal to draw or lose to Al Fayha to win the title, but if Al Hilal wins, Al Nassr and Al Hilal would be tied on points (84 points).
In case Al Nassr and Al Hilal finish on the same number of points, Al Hilal would win the league title based on the Saudi Pro League tie-breaker, with the primary tie-breaker being head-to-head (H2H) records.
This season, Al Hilal defeated Al Nassr 3-1 in their first meeting back on January 12, 2026, and then their second meeting, which was last week, ended in a 1-1 draw. Al Hilal won this season's head-to-head record.
