Heading into the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Spain national football team are once again among the favourites after their recent success under coach Luis de la Fuente.
Spain have been drawn in Group H alongside Uruguay national football team, Saudi Arabia national football team and Cape Verde national football team.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation confirmed that Luis de la Fuente will officially announce Spain’s 26-man World Cup squad on Monday, May 25. The event will take place in Madrid at 12:30 PM local time.
For fans in the United States, the squad announcement will begin at 6:30 AM EDT. Supporters in Mexico and parts of North America following Central Standard Time can watch from 12:30 PM CST.
