Gian Piero Gasperini has demanded attacking reinforcements for his Roma side in January, but the Giallorossi will also be looking for new faces at the back and in central midfield.
Giacomo Raspadori and Joshua Zirkzee are Roma’s priority targets in attack this month.
The Manchester United forward is Gasp’s priority, but the Red Devils are unwilling to let him leave in the coming days as they’ll be short of options up front until mid-January due to injury and AFCON duty.
Zirkzee is open to joining Roma, and the Serie A side are determined to secure his services on loan with an option to buy.
Raspadori is another long-time Gasperini target, and yet again, club-to-club negotiations have already started.
The Italian forward has been struggling with playing time this season and could return to Italy after just six months from his permanent transfer from Napoli.
Sky Sport Italia and Gazzetta report that Roma will be looking for a central defender as well, and both Italian media claim that Tottenham ‘s Radu Dragusin is on the Giallorossi’s agenda.
Axel Disasi has also been linked with a move to the Stadio Olimpico, while Morten Frendrup is seen as a possible reinforcement in central midfield as Gasperini will be looking to boost his options in the middle of the park this month.
Surely, the Giallorossi will be quite busy in the January transfer window as they aim for Champions League qualification for the first time since 2018.
