Granit Xhaka’s father Ragip confirms Milan want to sign the Bayer Leverkusen star, while Sky Sport Italia reports the Bundesliga side is open to considering offers between €8m and €10m.
Xhaka’s father Ragip confirmed Milan’s interest in his son in an interview with Kosovo TV Teve1.
“Milan want Xhaka. I won’t discuss the deal’s condition, but the two clubs must reach an agreement. I appreciate Tare,” the midfielder’s father said via Gazzetta.
Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Bayer Leverkusen are now open to discussing a potential move for €8m to €10m.
According to Gazzetta, Milan director Tare has already scheduled a meeting with Bayer executives in Germany to discuss the deal personally.
As per Gazzetta, Milan would be open to finalising the Xhaka deal for €10m or less.
Xhaka isn’t Milan’s only target in midfield as the Rossoneri have also sent an offer to Club Brugge for Ardon Jashari and have resumed talks with Torino’s Samuele Ricci in recent days.
Tare discussed Milan’s transfer strategy at a press conference on Tuesday, confirming plans for significant changes in midfield and Luka Modric’s imminent transfer.
