Without question, the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) is showing how competitive and talented its players are along with a strong fanbase. Sellouts crowds across the United States with thrilling games and history made along the way. The final two games before the season hiatus saw action in Wichita and Norman. That being said, here is a recap of the action from both games
In this game, the Talons looked to complete the sweep against the Volts in Norman. A sacrifice fly RBI by Sierra Romero put the Volts on the board in the bottom of the first inning 1-0. Yet, the Talons offense answered in the top of the second with an RBI double by Ali Aguilar and a two-run single by Jadelyn Allchin. Also, Caroline Jacobsen added an RBI with a single to left in the top of the third inning to give the Talons a 4-1 lead.

Here, the Volts added four runs in their half of the seventh with a Mia Scott RBI double and a three-run homer by Lorenz. However, the Talons get the series sweep with the 8-6 win over the Volts. Raelin Chaffin gets her league-tying fourth win of this season with Georgina Corrick getting her first save this softball season.
For the final time in this inaugural softball league season, a game was played at Wilkins Stadium. The Bandits and Blaze squared off. In the top of the first innings, a pair of solo homers from Morgan Zerkle and Skylar Wallace gave the Bandits an early 2-0. However, the offense for Blaze found some heat in the bottom of the second.
Korbie Otis hit her first professional home run as Aliyah Andrews had a two-run single for a 3-2 lead. What’s more, Aubrey Leach and Danielle Gibson Whorton each added an RBI apiece. This made it a four-run second inning for the Blaze. A solo home run by Delanie Wisz for the Bandits was their final run of the matchup.
All things considered, the bats stayed on fire for the Blaze with a six-run sixth inning. Kayla Kowalik, Otis, Leach, and Gibson Whorton each contributed an RBI as Ana Gold went deep with a two-run homer. The 11-2 run-rule win is the second victory for the Blaze this season, avoiding the sweep.
