oAnother pitcher, Lexi Kilfoyl, was third on the leaderboard with 354 points, but she is an alternate on the USA Softball roster. In Kilfoyl’s place will be pitcher Sarah Willis (350 points) as the captain of Team Orange while outfielder Kendra Falby (330 points) leads the Blue squad.

Looking back at Series One, Garcia and Kilfoyl tied with one complete game apiece. Also, Garcia got the lone shutout of the series as Taylor McQuillin notched the lone save. Additionally, three players each hit a home run in Series One. Delanie Wisz, Erin Coffel, and Korbe Otis each went yard in North Carolina. Kowalik, Coffel, and Mary Iakopo tied with two RBIs each. What’s more, Kowalik and Aleshia Ocasio led the series with four hits. Finally, Wisz and Aliyah Andrews had a stolen base each.

Defensively, Wisz led in putouts (22) as Baylee Klingler (17), Tori Vidales (14), and Danielle Gibson Whorton (13) rounded out the leaders in the category. Lastly, Hannah Flippen and Paige Sinicki tied with seven assists.

When Will Series Two Of The AUSL Cup Get Underway?

In this case, Series Two will begin on Aug 19 in Rosemont, Illinois at the Parkway Bank Sports Complex. Here, Team Kowalik faces Team Falby on ESPN2 at 7:00 pm ET. On Aug 20 at 10:00 pm ET, Team Falby squares off against Team Willis on ESPN. Team Willis will play against Team Kowalik on Aug 21 in the final game of the series on ESPNU at 7:00 pm ET.
