There’s nothing like a long, tapering and dynamic point break to underscore one’s style, or lack thereof. A longer time on the wave means more options, choices, opportunities, for better or for worse. A point with multiple sections, some steep, others soft, also reveals ocean IQ, in that a surfer has to know what’s coming and adapt to it. Slower readers get caught behind.

You can guess what reading level Asher Pacey and Victor Bernardo are in. The two friends and Album team riders feature in Album’s latest video below, “Grain of Maroc,” filmed exclusively in a land of leg-purning right points.

This isn’t the biggest or best Morocco we’ve ever seen. But the surfing is crisp, the video style unique, and the tunes worth turning up. Ayoub Abouizza wrapped it up in a highly enjoyable viewing package. If you're keen to learn more about Moroccan surf culture and the history of one of the country's most coveted and crowded waves, check out the video below for Now Now Media's exposé on the heavy right point known as Safi.

Surfing-wise, Album produced another testament of high-level work on alternative craft we’ve come to expect from these two gentlemen. I can’t remember the last clip of either of them riding a thruster. They somehow always have speed to burn and sink their rail with ease. Victor digs in on his quad while Asher stays true to his undersized twins. They both aced the test.
