Can Australia Upset Hawaii for Tube-Shooting Supremacy?  

The above video is a compilation of the best entries from February 2025. As mentioned above, Hawaii took center stage. The Open Men’s division has several North Shore bombs from Shion Crawford, Isaiah Moniz, Luke Tema, Lucas Godfrey and Isamu Sumi. Thousands of miles away, Cam Richards also had a disappearing act at Supertubes in Peniche, Portugal, that cannot be ignored as a contender. 

But with Tropical Cyclone Alfred stirring up standing-room tubes at Kirra and the East Coast of Australia this week, is it possible that Hawaii may be upset in the final month of the contest? The internet is ablaze with surfers flocking to the Gold Coast and flinging themselves into 100-meter-long lines. Even Parko, Dingo and Occy, all judges in the comp, are sampling the goods. If they weren’t overseeing the competition, they could have been in contention themselves.
