I’ve heard the name, but to be totally honest, I have no idea who the Liver King is. Is it a riff on the late Jim Morrison, aka the Lizard King? Because if so, ol’ Jim is rolling over in his Paris grave, probably glad he’s dead in today’s “influencer” world.

Anyway, the Liver King is Brian Michael Johnson. To his following, he advocates the nine “ancestral tenets” which are believed to have been followed by ancient humans. Like eating raw organs of animals, hence the liver. He’s also been arrested for steroids (shocker) and terroristic threat after claiming he was coming after podcast behemoth, Joe Rogan.

But enough of the backstory; Liver King went surfing. Watch below.

Santa Cruz Medicinals (aka Brendan Ruh) and Beach Cowboy (aka Tanner Waite) took the roided, controversial “lifestyle influencer” for his surf session. Here’s the report:

“Just took @liverking and @theliverqueen surfing!

“He let me know his family was cruising to California for a vacation so we had to take them surfing! The ocean is the most humbling teacher ever and it gets everyone. At one point Liver King looked at me in the water and he said…I don’t say this a lot but I am tired
Paddling will do that.

“The real stars of the day were their boys @liverboyrad@strykrthemusician@visualzach

“It was so fun cooking up some steaks at sunset and enjoying the water.

“He even flew his dogs out lol they were loving it

“Thankful for the real surf teacher and water safety @beachcowboy_ he has gotten so many people up on boards…today was an easy day for him!”

How’d the Liver King do? Well, he stood up…on a couple ankle-slappers at San Onofre. You gotta hand it to him, though, with a body like that, it’s not exactly built for high-performance surfing. One thing’s for certain, this dude is fringe as it gets.

Wouldn’t want to cross paths with him in a dark alley.
