Novak Djokovic makes history with Wimbledon victory over Matteo Berrettini

Novak Djokovic made history with his sixth Wimbledon championship on Sunday.

The Serbian tennis star defeated Matteo Berrettini 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 6-4, 6-3 for his 20th Grand Slam victory, tying him with Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer for the most all-time.

The Wimbledon trophy was presented to Djokovic by the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and the Duke of Kent, Prince Edward.

Djokovic's six Wimbledon titles are two shy of Federer's eight. Nadal has bested both players at the French Open with 13 titles, while Djokovic leads the trio with nine wins at the Australian Open.

The 34-year-old will be representing Serbia in the Olympics and is expected to compete in the U.S. Open in August.

Djokovic could become the first man since Rod Laver in 1969 to win all four Grand Slam titles in the same year. He has already won the Australian Open, French Open and now Wimbledon.

The only player to win all four grand slams and the Olympics in the same year is Steffi Graf. She won the 1988 Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, U.S. Open and a gold medal in the Olympics in Seoul.
