Three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray had some words for the Roland Garros tournament directors, as the British star agreed with Coco Gauff over the size of trophy received when the American prevailed in Saturday's final.

The Atlanta native defeated World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka in three sets to win her first French Open title and second overall Grand Slam trophy. The American battled from a set down to overcome Sabalenka's power, dropping to the ground in disbelief as her opponent's final shot went wide.

Gauff shows off actual trophy received, Murray chimes in

The French Open champion is handed the Suzanne-Lenglen trophy during the post-match trophy celebration. After taking pictures and posing for the crowd, the triumphant athlete is actually given a much smaller replica to take home with them. Gauff displayed her replica trophy in a viral TikTok video, enlightening several fans who believed she was going home with the larger version.

"This is the trophy that you guys see," Gauff said in the post as she showed a picture of herself holding the larger trophy. "The one that we take pictures with, do press with and all that. But, actually, we don't get to take this home. This stays with the tournament."

Gauff would then pick up the actual trophy she was taking home, which was considerably smaller than the one in the picture.

"This is the one we take home." revealed Gauff. "It's like a mini replica of the trophy. It's… really small. That's how small it is. But, you know, it's the memories that matter the most."

Murray, who retired at last year's Olympic Games, took to social media to call out the Grand Slam organizers. The former British No.1 implored the Major tournaments to give athletes a larger trophy

"Surely the tennis majors can do a better job with the replica trophies!?" wrote Murray. "They are tiny."
