After the match, Sabalenka made a point of acknowledging the fans, despite playing against an American star.

The world number one, who was visibly blushing amid all the love from fans post-match, also addressed the fans from Brazil.

She stated: “I love you guys, too. It’s incredible. It’s an unbelievable atmosphere, a lot of Brazilian fans here. Obrigado, guys, for the support. I always enjoy playing in front of you all.”

Aryna Sabalenka’s growing bond with Brazilian fans

Sabalenka’s appreciation for Brazilian supporters is not new, but it has taken on deeper meaning recently. She is engaged to Brazilian entrepreneur Georgios Frangulis, strengthening her ties to the country.

Frangulis is known for his business ventures and has been a visible presence alongside the Belarusian star. Their relationship has drawn attention, particularly after their recent engagement announcement.

That personal connection appears to have translated into stronger support from Brazilian fans. In Miami, that backing was evident once again, adding another layer to Sabalenka’s on-court experience.
