ATP 500 Beijing 1/8-Finals

De Minaur – Rinderknech: 27.09.2025 06:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Alex de Minaur has won four of his last five matches. After playing for Australia in the Davis Cup, de Minaur played in the Laver Cup. He defeated Zverev and Mensik in straight sets and set the tone for the upcoming Asian swing. This will be his second appearance in Beijing. In the opening main draw round, de Minaur defeated Bu in straight sets. He served great, offering and saving only one breakpoint. In the second set, he demolished Bu 6-0 without any problems.

Arthur Rinderknech has won three of his last five matches. This week in Beijing, Rinderknech failed to qualify for the main draw tournament. In the final qualifying round, he lost to Goffin in straight sets. However, with several players withdrawing from the tournament, the Frenchman entered the main draw as a lucky loser. In the opening round, Rinderknech faced Goffin once again. However, this time, Rinderknech won in three tight sets. He lost his serve in the deciding set, but immediately broke back and turned the match around.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, de Minaur is the favourite in this matchup, and we agree. He is one of the biggest favourites this week in Beijing. In the opening round, de Minaur dominated and won easily. On the other hand, Rinderknech has no weapons for his game. We expect de Minaur to continue his winning streak and secure an easy victory.

That being said, de Minaur covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Cazaux – Mensik: 27.09.2025 14:30 CEST
H2H: 1-0

Arthur Cazaux has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Hangzhou, Cazaux lost against Moutet in the second round in three tight sets. This week in Beijing, the Frenchman qualified for the main draw. In the final qualifying round, Halys retired mid-match against Cazaux. In the opening main draw round, Cazaux defeated Shang in three tight sets. After losing the opening set 0-6, the Frenchman turned the match around. He even trailed 1-3 in the second set.

Jakub Mensik has won three of his last five matches. Last week, Mensik played in the Laver Cup. He defeated Michelsen in the opening match in three tight sets. Shortly after, Mensik had no answer for de Minaur. This week in Beijing, Mensik defeated Kecmanovic in the opening round in straight sets. Mensik was great under pressure, saving fourteen out of seventeen breakpoints. He trailed 0-2 in the opening set, but turned it around. Last season in Beijing, the Czech lost against Cerundolo in the opening round in straight sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Mensik is the slight favourite in this matchup, and we agree. Cazaux struggled this week in both the qualifying tournament and the opening round of the main draw. On the other hand, Mensik is a top 20 player and enjoys playing on fast courts. We expect him to be a better player tomorrow.

That being said, Mensik winning is a value bet.
