ATP 500 Beijing 1/8-Finals

Marozsan – Muller: 27.09.2025 05:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Fabian Marozsan has lost three of his last five matches. The last match he played was in the Davis Cup, where he lost his singles match against Rodionov in three tight sets. This will be his debut campaign in Beijing. In the opening main draw round, Marozsan defeated Bonzi in straight sets. He served great, offering and saving only two breakpoints. The Hungarian has not had any remarkable results on hard courts this season. He hopes for a solid result this week to secure a spot in the top 50.

Alexandre Muller has lost three of his last five matches. The last match he played before the ATP Beijing was at the US Open, where he lost against Tsitsipas in four sets. This week in Beijing, Muller defeated Khachanov in three tight sets. After losing the opening set 4-6, the Frenchman stepped up his level and turned the match around after playing for almost three hours. Around this time last season, Muller played in Tokyo, where he failed to qualify for the main draw tournament.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Marozsan is the slight favourite in this matchup, and we agree. He served well in the opening match against Bonzi. On the other hand, Muller played well against Khachanov, but he had to endure a nearly three-hour physical match. We expect Marozsan to serve well and win.

That being said, Marozsan winning is a value bet.

Sinner – Atmane: 27.09.2025 09:00 CEST
H2H: 1-0

Jannik Sinner has won four of his last five matches. The last match he played before the ATP Beijing was at the US Open, where he lost to Alcaraz in the final in four tight sets. Since then, the Italian has taken time off to rest and prepare for the Asian swing. This week in Beijing, Sinner defeated Cilic in straight sets easily. He served great, offering and saving only one breakpoint. Last season in Beijing, Sinner lost against Alcaraz in the final in three tight sets.

Terence Atmane has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Chengdu, Atmane lost in the opening round against Prizmic in straight sets. This week in Beijing, the Frenchman qualified for the main draw of the tournament. In the final qualifying round, Atmane defeated Van de Zandschulp in two tiebreaks. In the opening main draw round, the Frenchman easily won against Zhang in straight sets. He served great, offering and saving only two breakpoints. This is his debut campaign in Beijing.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Sinner is the big favourite in this matchup, and we agree. He has been the most consistent player this season, especially on hard courts. On the other hand, Atmane played well this season, but he is not at the Italian’s level. We expect Sinner to dominate in this match and win easily.

That being said, Sinner covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Jannik Sinner -5.5 games handicap @1.73 @bet365
