ATP Beijing Quarterfinal Predictions Including Jannik Sinner vs Fabian Marozsan

It should be a terrific ATP Beijing quarterfinal day. This year’s Wimbledon champion, Jannik Sinner, will be in action, and there is also a fascinating clash between Alexander Zverev and 2021 US Open winner Daniil Medvedev. Which four players do you expect to reach the semifinals?

ATP Beijing Quarterfinal Predictions

Alex de Minaur vs Jakub Mensik

Head-to-head: de Minaur 3-0 Mensik

Both men won tight battles in the Round of 16. De Minaur defeated Mensik just a few days ago at the Laver Cup, and Beijing’s slow conditions are similar to those in that match. That undoubtedly suits the Australian more, and I expect him to beat the Czech for a fourth consecutive time.
Prediction: de Minaur in 2

Lorenzo Musetti vs Learner Tien

Head-to-head: First meeting

Musetti managed to keep his composure in the round of 16 against Adrian Mannarino after the huge controversy caused by his comments about the Chinese fans. Tien’s powerful game and shots hit with heavy topspin contrast sharply with Mannarino’s. But the Italian is in great form, and I expect his more complete tennis to triumph.
Prediction: Musetti in 2

Alexander Zverev vs Daniil Medvedev

Head-to-head: Medvedev 13-7 Zverev

Although he remains far from his peak, Medvedev’s performances in the opening two rounds were more reminiscent of his hard-court performances from 2019 to 2023. The former Grand Slam winner usually prefers faster courts. However, he has frustrated Zverev in slower conditions before. Medvedev might be finding some form again at the right moment to deny the German for a fifth consecutive time in their rivalry.
Prediction: Medvedev in 3

Jannik Sinner vs Fabian Marozsan

Head-to-head: Sinner 1-0 Marozsan

Sinner was far below his best against Terence Atmane before stepping it up in the final set to win 6-4 5-7 6-0. Marozsan never shows fear against any opponent and will be aggressive. While that is the right mindset and approach, he still requires Sinner to be well below his best. I expect the four-time Grand Slam winner to be better than in the previous round and progress comfortably.
Prediction: Sinner in 2
