Aleksandar Kovacevic has won three of his last five matches. This week in Brisbane, the Australian defeated Kyrgios in the opening round in straight sets. He served well, not offering any breakpoints. Kovacevic defeated Norrie in the second round in three tight sets. Besides losing his serve once, Kovacevic served well throughout the match. Brandon Nakashima has won three of his last five matches. This week in Brisbane, Nakashima won his opening match against Davidovich Fokina in straight sets. He trailed 2-4 in the opening set tiebreak, but turned it around. Nakashima won against Halys in the second round in straight sets, whilst saving both breakpoints he offered. In the quarterfinals, the American dominated against Collignon, saving all six breakpoints he offered. He has yet to lose a set this week in Brisbane.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Nakashima is the slight favourite in this matchup, and we agree. He was unstoppable this week in Brisbane. On the other hand, Kovacevic struggled in almost every match. Nakashima will be more rested, and we expect him to be a better player in this matchup.

That being said, Nakashima winning is a value bet.

In the second and third sets, Medvedev served well, saving all breakpoints. This is his second appearance in Brisbane. In his debut campaign, Medvedev finished as a runner-up, losing to Nishikori in the final in three tight sets.

He leads 2-0 in head-to-head meetings against Michelsen and has yet to drop a set. He has all the weapons to dominate tomorrow.

That being said, Medvedev covering the games handicap is a value bet.
