The ATP Kitzbuhel Open 2025 edition is all set for an exciting close as top seed Alexander Bublik takes on first time finalist Arthur Cazaux. As ever, we preview and predict the final match for you.
Head-to-head – Bublik 2-0 Cazaux
What a couple of weeks Alexander Bublik is having. The Kazakh won the title in Gstaad last week and is again in prime position to nab another title here in Kitzbuhel, Austria. Bublik is yet to lose a set this week and is looking very comfortable entering the final.
His opponent is first time ATP finalist Arthur Cazaux. The Frenchman reached the semifinals last week, in Gstaad where he lost to Bublik convincingly. Cazaux played a really solid match in the semi-finals giving no break points chances and serving pretty well.
Coming to this match up, both players will look to have a good serving day. Bublik has been serving well and he will look to the previous match against Cazaux to try to replicate the same.
Cazaux will no doubt give his all, but there are bound to be nerves as he prepares to play his first final. Bublik’s game style is built on variety, and the clay courts do give the opportunity to do so. Cazaux will likely redline his game to nab a set and will look to his forehand to dictate terms. That may very well prove to be insufficient as Bublik is looking good from the baseline as well and should be good for back to back titles.
Prediction: Bublik in 3
