This week in Toronto, the Argentine defeated Munar in three tight sets after playing for over three hours. In the second round, Cerundolo defeated his compatriot, Etcheverry, in straight sets. He was great under pressure, saving eight out of nine breakpoints.

According to the bookies, Zverev is the favourite in this matchup, but we disagree. Cerundolo played well in the second round against Etcheverry.
